Oppti End User License Agreement (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is between you and Bernardo Moreno, doing business as Oppti ("Licensor") and covers the Oppti software for macOS, including updates (the "Software"). By installing or using the Software, you agree to this EULA and to the Oppti Terms of Service, which are part of it.

  1. License. While you have an active Oppti membership or trial, Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and run the Software on up to 3 Macs you own or control, for your own personal or internal business use.
  1. Restrictions. You may not: (a) rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the Software; (b) copy it except as needed to install it and keep one backup; (c) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble it, except where the law expressly permits this despite this restriction; (d) remove proprietary notices; or (e) circumvent licensing or security features.
  1. Permissions on your Mac. The Software asks for access to the network, and, if you allow it, to Calendar and Reminders. It runs inside Apple's App Sandbox. It doesn't install kernel extensions, background daemons, or other software. It adds a login item only if you leave "Open Oppti when I log in" turned on.
  1. Your data. The Software processes your linked-account content locally, as described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for backing up your Mac.
  1. Ownership. The Software is licensed, not sold. Licensor and its licensors keep all rights, title, and interest in it.
  1. Open-source components. The Software may include open-source components, each under its own license, listed in Settings › About › Acknowledgements. Nothing in this EULA limits your rights under those licenses.
  1. Termination. This license ends automatically when your membership ends or if you breach this EULA. When it ends, the Software stops creating new task lists. You may then uninstall it.
  1. Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability. The disclaimers and limits in Sections 9 and 10 of the Terms of Service apply to the Software.
  1. Export. You may not use or export the Software in violation of U.S. or other applicable export laws, or in any embargoed country or by any restricted party.
  1. U.S. Government users. The Software is "commercial computer software" licensed only under these terms.
  1. Governing law and disputes. This EULA is governed by the laws stated in the Terms of Service, and any dispute about it is resolved as described in Section 13 of the Terms of Service, including binding individual arbitration and the class-action waiver.
  1. Transfer. Licensor may transfer this EULA to a business entity it owns or controls, or to a successor, as described in the Terms of Service.
